What we keep, and what we don't
Plain answers, written to match what the service actually does today.
What we keep
- We don't store your uploaded files or photos, and we don't keep their filenames.
- To build your result we keep what we read from them: equipment details, prices, and our findings. We work to keep names and addresses out of what we keep, but reading documents isn't perfect, so a personal detail could still slip through.
How long we keep it
- After 30 days we delete the full text of your documents and also remove the descriptive text and any drafted message from your result; amounts, statuses and findings stay so your link keeps working.
- Your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse and is deleted within two days.
Your controls
- You can delete a result yourself, at any time, from its page (in the browser you used to create it). That removes everything we stored for it and stops its link working.
- A result page works for anyone who has its link, so share it only with people you trust.
Who else handles your data
- Your documents and photos are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to be read. Under their terms as of September 2026, they keep API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days by default; requests flagged as possibly violating their usage policies can be kept longer, up to 2 years.
- Our database provider, Neon, keeps a restore history for 6 hours, so data we delete can remain in that history for up to 6 hours afterward.
